Kingdom Kidz Children's Ministry

Kingdom Kidz is our overall children’s ministry program for children. Our goal is for each child to grow in God’s word and develop a sound spiritual foundation before they enter junior high. Kingdom Kidz includes children ranging in age form 3 years old to 5th grade. Here is a brief description of different segments of the Kingdom Kidz Ministry.
Kidz Own Worship (Children’s Church) – on every Sunday except the 4th Sunday of the month (CONNECT Worship Sun), our children start out in Adult Worship with their parents but leave shortly after the first song to go to their own worship service. It is normally based on the same scripture that is used in Adult Worship, but the message is presented in a method that relates more to our children. By using dramas, object lesson, skits, stories and puppets, the message is made relevant for our kids.
Children's Classes – classes are offered every Sunday morning at 9:50 am. Children are divided into 4 groups. Preschool (3 and 4 year olds), Early Elementary (K thru 1st grade), Middle Elementary (2nd thru 3rd grade) and Late Elementary (4th thru 5th grade).
GROW, Proclaim, Serve! (Preschool) - our 3 & 4 year olds are currently learning from the GROW, Proclaim, Serve! learning system which is based on John 14: 1 "Believe in God, believe also in me." Our children will come to love God through Jesus by living out their lessons in their everyday lives.
Faith Quest (Kindergarten thru 5th grade) - do a rotational format called Faith Quest. The children meet for an opening assembly then are led by shepherds to different learning stations. The same bible story and concept is taught for six weeks with the use of multimedia workshops such as storytelling, games, crafts, cooking, science, videos and music.
Way Out Wednesdays (W.O.W) – on the first Wed of the month during the public school year, we have an exciting after school program that teaches fitness, proper nutrition and biblical lessons. (For more info and registration, please see the "Info Center" Tab on our Home Page)
Terrific Tuesdaze – during the summer months, we go on outings to various places so the kids can expand their horizons. In 2013, we have activities planned for May 28th, June 4th, June 11th, June 18th and June 25th. Come back in May for more info. For more details, please see our home page.
Vacation Bible School– This fun week involves singing, great dramas and Bible stories, recreation, arts and crafts. For the summer of 2013, the thme is "Everywhere Fun Fair: Where God's Love Comes Together." It will be July 7th thru July 11th from 5:30 to 8:30 pm.
